Have you ever been cheated on? Ever cheated?
Submitted by Joe.
i've never cheated, and i have been cheated on before. at least from my point of view. i doubt she'll want to raise it. and i'm a gentleman. this fact speaks for itself.
In which fictional world/universe/land/city would you most like to live?
Submitted by glenn is the new chuck.
Robert Heinlein's "For Us the Living". it's sometime in the future, when people figure out there's no need for money, how to reduce emoness, etc. and people work the way they want, don't force themselves onto certain jobs just to get hungry. minimal living requirements (home, food, entertainment) is all part of reverse taxing. it seems everyone is recognized as a descendant of some inventor or another... hey the dude who made fire counts right?
If you could open a restaurant, any kind you want, what would it look like and what's on the menu?
Submitted by A is for Amy.
Gamers Café; non-crumbly, non-sticky foods. coffee and tea will be the main drinks, water is provided free. much overused ingredient will be rice and potatoes. the goal of my restaurant will be a comfy place for gamers. the menu will help keep them alive and well for long periods of time. MAY be a bit pricey to help subsidize the gaming equipment i'll have.
this is a little fantasy of mine for a hangout for gamers (cyber, bar, board, card, wtver...). an honest, family, comfy (heavy cushions and padding all over), straight (we'll need many hard-wooden horizontal surfaces for cards & boards) sort of place. not the sleazy over odrky place they usually have. maybe with a bit of class in.
EDIT: perhaps additonal expansions will make it a Gamer/Cyber/Manga Café.
Would you rather go back in time or visit the future?
Submitted by Auds.
To the FUTURE, not to escape the present as some might, to see if i've or not made myself a worthy museum piece. or if i am there, am i still alive for perhaps i had enforced it there? yeah i harbour fantasies of alternate realities, i think i might have done better in another world (for present day's paper chase and/or monetary worship irks me).

How do you take your tea or coffee?
Submitted by Vasquez.
i'd order mine kopi ais kurang manis (ice coffee with less sugar, i think they call it black). although i'd prefer Penang iced white coffee, it's really quite good (even after filtering the beans with socks).
Congrats - TIME Magazine voted you "Person of the Year"! What's your acceptance speech?
well now, i hadn't quite expected this. but it comes to me without much surprise... yes i acknowledge the fact i'm one of you all. movers of knowledge however small. may we stand proud and say: count me in, you know i'm tops. that's Mr. Egoist to you.

yeah about that little ego-jump it fed, if you'd actually read the article, it's nothing more that a little media trumpeting: "hey i know what the Web 2.0 is, finally!". Good. cuz previously, they'd only seen it as technology: of hypes as Flickr, eBay, craigslist, Wikipedia, del.icio.us, Skype, dodgeball, and Adsense.#
it's strange to note that in the Times story; WWW, RSS feeds, YouTube, Facebook, Second Life, podcasts, Linux, etc was mentioned... and at the end emphasized:
This is an opportunity to build a new kind of international understanding, not politician to politician, great man to great man, but citizen to citizen, person to person. It's a chance for people to look at a computer screen and really, genuinely wonder who's out there looking back at them. #
and i wonder just when... if anyone would stroll into the great archive in the sky (ok fine!) web; notice the oh so many revisions to my website's structure/design (actually past February 2006, the changes must have been to gradual for it to detect), and realize my relationship with the WWWeb 2.0. because my dear fellow... i thought of it first, only called it differently: SMUD.
and THAT is why this award holds a special place in my heart.
