QotD: Just Skimming

When skimming a magazine (or book or newspaper) do you flip through the pages from front to back or back to front?
Submitted by enSue.

i usually start in the middle, with my finger there, i move to the back, then back to the middle and read backwards. i read the more "boring" news first, then the cover articles last (best for last) towards the front. it's also a co-incidence comics are always available in the back halves in my area.

i go back to my geeky ways and play games... those time immemorial and the latest. consume friggin' huge mugs of coffee, and consume myself in the paper-chase.

If you could make a magic wish for a futuristic gadget or high-tech innovation, what would your item do?
Submitted by Red Pen.

i've thought of this for a while... here goes:

it has to be some kind of neural interface, possibly embeded, that allows me to communicate without any buttons actions... merely needs thoughts. this would get rid of needless peripherals like keyboards, mice, buttons, monitors, etc... it would also be a big boost for the disabled.
